Where To Buy Parvaid And Things To Be Aware Of
The question of where to buy Parvaid doesn’t seem that difficult – all you need to do is go to the local store and pick up a bottle.
Well, we’re sorry, but that would be just too easy – things are a little bit more complicated than that.
Parvaid is an herbal product that is chemical and synthetic-free. It is both safe and effective. Unfortunately, it is not a chemical-based drug, which means that most vets trained in traditional Western Medicine completely dismiss organic products as nothing but some alternative solution that cannot possibly work as it is not “FDA”-approved.
Herbal products classified as botanicals or food supplements, which is true of Parvaid and its related products, do not have to be evaluated by the FDA and therefore do not have to be approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.
A wall of resistance seems to go up as soon as you mention non-traditional or non-mainstream products. Most vets appear to know next to nothing of organic treatments, and most of the time they will be quite dismissive of any product that does not come from a drug manufacturer as they receive a lot of financial incentives for pushing the big pharmaceutical companies’ drug; the small, independent herbalist, on the other hand, can’t match the payoff levels that a company the size of Pfizer, for example, can use to incentivize a struggling vet.
It’s therefore very hard to get inexpensive herbal products into established distribution chains. The financial rewards are not present, there will be much less residual income, which is because herbal products tend to provide long-term relief compared to drugs that cause a wide range of side-effects creating a scenario of yet more drugs to counter-act the side-effects, and all this ever does is to put a sticking plaster on the problems, you could end up taking pills and such indefinitely – which brings in a steady flow of cash each month.
Given a choice between getting paid once or getting paid over and over, which do you think the big drug companies will select?
Unfortunately, in this country we once had a proud tradition of using organic and natural products to solve all manner of ailments, but a couple of hundred years ago, drugs began to appear, large marketing campaigns were launched claiming how wonderful drugs are and that they are the only path to good health, and so the propaganda machine continued at full force.
The organic market could not then and by-and-large still cannot compete with fat cats and their deep pockets. If you brainwash people, day after day after day, with hype-filled ads that play on their emotions, they will get so worn down that they will come to believe the only viable solution is drugs.
Most people grow up with the “pop a couple of pills and all will be right” mentality. But these days bugs (i.e. viruses, germs, bacteria, parasites) are getting very strong and immune to traditional treatments. Chemical-based drugs are much easier to find, but it’s highly likely that they won’t offer you the level of relief that you need.
Products like Parvaid work with the body to help it heal from within. It would be nice to be able to go to your local market and find these organic type products, but as they are not mainstream and there are no big companies willing to promote this type of alternative treatment plan, you will rarely find these types of products in supermarkets, or even in any of the larger pet stores such as Pet Co or Pet Smart. You may, however, be more likely to find what you’re looking for if you look in small independent pet stores or feed stores.
But there are some things you need to be aware of first.
Very few of the smaller retailers who sell Parvaid really know much about the product or how best to use it for maximum effect, because to them, it’s nothing more than another item on the shelf.
Because here’s the thing – if you want to give your dog the best possible chance of surviving Parvo, then you not only need to know the correct way to administer the product but also how to make and give a few home remedies at the same time. Retailers of this product simply will not have that body of knowledge or expertise.
Also the manufacturer requires a minimum of four (4) different products to treat sick Parvo dogs or exposed Parvo puppies as well as exposed adult dogs. Many retailers do not carry all of the required products.
This leaves you with a dilemma: spend valuable time hunting down a retail store in your area (and this could be hundreds of miles away) and hope that they have what you need product-wise, and then come home and deal with your sick pets on your own as best you can, or you could buy the products online.
The advantage of buying from a retail store is that you will probably save some time and some money (i.e. you won’t incur any shipping costs, although you will pay for gas), but the disadvantage is that you will get absolutely zero support. If anything does go wrong, because no matter how good the products are (and they are!), some dogs don’t respond to the standard treatment protocols for any number of reasons and therefore need adjusted dosage schedules, you’ll probably find that you’ll get no help from the store you bought the products from as they simply won’t have the knowledge and experience that you’ll need.
If you buy Parvaid online, then you need to look at who is selling the products, how much experience do they have should you need help, which is most of the time, and how trustworthy is their website.
As you know, there are no shortages of fly-by-night sites out there with many scammers that take money but never deliver.
One way you can tell is to look for the quantity of Parvo information that is on their website. If there is very little info then they probably don’t know much about it and are just selling another product.
Something else to look out for is the range of shipping methods that they use. If the only shipping method is USPS Priority Mail, this is a really good sign that they just don’t get it – Parvo is a deadly virus that kills at a frightening speed, and anything slower than FedEx or UPS Overnight services is just too slow. Some sites even offer free Priority Mail shipping, in an attempt to gain your business, but please don’t be tempted by these, because the money you think you’re saving will probably cost your dog his life, as you wait an extra one to three days for that life-saving package to arrive in the mail.
We’ve dealt with 870 cases of Parvo (and counting), we only use FedEx Overnight for sick animals (Monday – Saturday deliveries), we make available a 100+ page book that we wrote all about Parvo, called Parvo Treatment 101, which you can download to your computer instantly and completely free of charge, we have developed (and frequently update) the most comprehensive Parvo Home Remedy Plan that will help sustain your sick dog until your products can be delivered, and throughout the treatment schedule, that you will find anywhere on the Internet, and we are the only people offering 24×7 personal phone coaching (also at no additional charge).
If your property is infected with Parvo, assuming you have dogs, or with Feline Distemper, if you have cats (because, unfortunately, dogs can pass Parvo on to cats, where it manifests itself in the form of Feline Distemper, also known as Feline Panleukopenia), then it is more than likely that you will need some support (maybe at 3:00am on a Sunday morning, when you won’t be able to contact most vets or retail stores, of course) to help you through this horrific ordeal.
If you have not already done so, please visit ParvoBuster to help get your pets back on their feet again, and while you’re there, don’t forget to check out the many Parvaid testimonials kindly provided by some of our many satisfied customers.
Wake Up And Smell The Parvo!
If there’s one common theme that we can see in many of the 850+ customers we’ve worked with over the past two years, it’s this: people don’t seem to comprehend just how aggressive and fast-acting the Canine Parvo virus is.
You can go to bed one night, with a perfectly healthy-looking, happy dog, and wake up in the morning to a very sick one – and, yes, the title of this article is not just a play on a popular expression, because Parvo has an unmistakable smell, as the diarrhea, which is frequently one of the first symptoms to appear with the latest 2c strain of this virus, is foul and unlike anything else you may have come across before.
We had one customer, in the Pacific Northwest, whose dog first showed symptoms of Parvo on a Sunday morning, and by later that afternoon, it was already dead.
Even when this virus doesn’t claim your dog’s life quite so quickly, too many people sit around for day after day, with their dog clearly not well, and doing absolutely nothing about it, because they think they have time.
But nothing could be further from the truth!
You know what dogs are like – most of them, if not all, absolutely love their food, so if you noticed that your dog skipped even one meal, wouldn’t you be concerned that something could be gravely wrong?
Even if one of our dogs throws up, if they’re healthy (and ours are), then they are ready to eat again just minutes later, so a dog that’s off his food for several hours (which is often the very first sign you’ll see that your dog has Parvo, provided you’re observant, of course) should be a massive, red warning sign.
Unfortunately, there is such a lot of bad advice around about Parvo that a lot of dog owners are lulled into a false sense of security.
People feel safe because:
- Their dog is vaccinated and up-to-date on all of its shots. And now for the reality: Parvo vaccines are not effective against the 2c strain (which is why many of our customers are finding that even their adult dogs are being infected, and dying, from this virus, even though they’ve had all of their vaccinations), and can even give your dog full-blown Parvo symptoms (particularly if your dog was vaccinated after he’s been infected, which is about the worst thing you can do).
- They have an adult dog, and everybody knows that Parvo only affects puppies. Oops, wrong again! Parvo may still primarily be a puppy illness, but more and more adult dogs are getting it now as well. If this sounds like a broken record, then we’re not making any apologies, but vaccinations don’t work like they used to – the latest 2c strain of Parvo is just too strong and most vaccines on the market today are only effective against the older 2a and 2b strains (and that’s not to mention the long-term issues with all vaccinations, which most vets won’t tell you about).
- They try to do the right thing by having their dog tested for Parvo at the vet’s, but do nothing because the test comes back negative. Reality check time again: the 2c strain of Parvo is well-known for generating a false-negative result, and this particularly applies to the in-clinic stool sample tests that are very popular these days. This means that although you are told your dog does not have Parvo, he actually does, and that leads to more days of inaction while your dog is getting sicker and sicker.
- They never take their dog outside, which means it won’t get infected by the Parvo virus. This is another myth, as one of the most common reasons why indoor dogs get Parvo is because they get it from their owners / breeders! It’s true, you can walk this virus into your house without even knowing it (or transmit it via your hands or clothes). That’s why we always suggest that people (including visitors) change their shoes whenever they go indoors.
So, given that there is a ton of bad advice and uninformed hearsay to be found, mainly on the Internet, of course, where can you go to get up-to-date and reliable information that you can use, knowing that, rather than harming your dog and making matters worse, it will actually increase his chances of surviving this most devastating of viruses?
This actually highlights another major issue to do with Parvo: many dog owners have never heard of Parvo (until their vet tells them that’s why their dog is sick), which means they don’t know what to look out for. Even more amazing, to us, is that we come across many breeders who know nothing about this virus either. For people in the doggie business, this is basic knowledge that you simply should have!
Well, the good news is that we have written a free, 100+ page ebook all about Parvo, called Parvo Treatment 101, that you can download to your computer in minutes.
This book contains more or less everything you need to know about Parvo (e.g. the symptoms, including the different types of stool to look out for, treatment options), which makes it a great place to start.
However, if your dog is already sick (i.e. a vet has confirmed that he has the Parvovirus, or he shows any of the classic symptoms, or even if you know he’s been exposed within the past few days), then you don’t have time to read this book now – you need to administer Parvo treatment right away, because there’s one thing you don’t have with this virus, and that is time. You can always read our free book later, once your dog is stabilized, or better.
We hope that you found this article both interesting and useful, and if it helps you save your dog’s life, even better. However, we do have a load more information about Parvo treatment for you, which is in addition to what’s in our free book.
We’d like to close by encouraging all dog owners to at least be educated about just how devastating this virus can be, and about the various treatment options (you don’t need to take your dog to the vet and spend anywhere from $500 USD to over $10,000 USD, for a success rate that offers no better odds than tossing a coin, because effective, inexpensive, safe Parvo home remedies do exist), so please, if you know anybody with a dog, then do forward this article, and/or our free book, on to them – you just never know who might need it, and there’s no better feeling than knowing that you’ve helped to save somebody’s beloved pet from an excruciatingly painful death from probably the most devastating doggie virus there is.
Pavovirus Treatment – Test Your Knowledge
It’s already Spring time, which means the Parvo season is upon us already, and there is a much more aggressive strain of the Parvovirus that is killing dogs at an alarming rate. The 2c Strain can kill both adult dogs and puppies within 6-12 hours after symptoms first appear, even though they may be fully-vaccinated and up-to-date with all their shots.
So, we put together a little quiz for you to see whether you’re up-to-date. These are all True/False questions:
- Parvo is a puppy disease and my adult dogs are safe.
- All of my dogs are up-to-date on their shots, therefore they are protected.
- I’m worried that my cat can get infected from my Parvo puppy, should I be?
- Foul-smelling dog diarrhea mainly comes from eating junk food.
- Canine Parvovirus is not contagious to humans.
- My vet quoted $750+ for Parvo treatments for my dog, I heard this is low?
- Parvo cannot survive snow and desert-heat temperatures.
- Parvo can only be spread via infected dog feces.
- Parvo can incubate from 3-15 days before symptoms appear.
- Parvo tests at the vet are always accurate.
Parvo is widely misunderstood. One thing is for sure, it will attack your pet and can take him away from you if you don’t take immediate action. So often, people are caught unawares and just do not know what to look for. Parvo symptoms can suddenly appear almost out of the blue – one minute your dog is his usual playful self and the next minute he is lying around, not eating, no energy – basically, not the dog you know and love.
The typical symptoms of Parvo can throw you at first. You may believe your dog has simply eaten something that disagreed with him, when in fact he may already be infected and very ill with the scourge of the Earth, Canine Parvo virus.
This is why we wrote Parvo Treatment 101, which is a FREE eBook that contains a wealth of information to help you learn all you need to know about Parvo and what are the dog Parvo symptoms to look out for. We also talk about exactly what is an effective Parvo treatment. Without a doubt, you will run across many different treatments for Parvo, and we can help you understand their advantages and disadvantages, as we’ve done hours of research into the subject matter.
We hope that you found this information both interesting and useful and once you download your free copy of our eBook, that should clear up many issues about Canine Parvo.
And finally, how did you score on our little Parvo Quiz? Ideally, you should be aiming to score at least 9 … Well, we can help you out. If you pay a visit to our PET Blog we will have all of the answers to this quiz and perhaps other questions you may have on your mind.
