Create a Command

A good way to stop your dog from jumping, it by voicing a command. This command will associate with off. This command is to be used when your dog jumps up on either furniture or a person. He will begin to understand this word as the off command.

Your dog will understand the command and the action as one. The dog might not understand the command right away, but with a little practice he’ll get it. As with all commands it will take consistency from the leader to help eliminate this bad behavior.
