I didn’t know that they allow dogs in Wal-mart anyway.
Gee.. Do you know how to sew at all?? You could remove the zipper and put some velcro strips on there instead.. A little apple dapple doxy is probably safe with some velcro to secure him / her inside.. You might want to consider having a back up purse so that you won’t run into this problem again in the future..

You can’t take a dog in Walmart anyway unless she was a service dog, and I don’t think she will be much service in a purse…
