Getting Rid of Extreme Barking: The No Bark 18 Collar
The SBC-18 is a great tool that can be used by dog owners that want to reduce their pets’ barking in a practical, yet humane way. Loaded with umpteen features including 18 progressive correction levels and correction induction via sound or vibrations, no bark 18 collar is adjustable for neck sizes 6″-28″.
One of its modes is the “Test Collar” mode, that you can use to verify that the no bark 18 collar is in good working conditions. When in this mode, the collar has to be put at a distance of 8 inches away from you so you can say the word “test” to the sensor. This should activate the first level of static shock correction, which will activate a LED light.
The collar always starts correction with the lowest level of static intensity, and it goes up to the next one automatically if the dog barks again within 30 seconds. However, the auto-shut-off feature that comes with the no bark 18 collar shuts down the unit for 3 minutes if your dog continues to bark for more than 15 times within 50 seconds.
Keep in mind that the use of the SBC-18 should be restricted to those times when barking would be very inconvenient. The corrections administered by the collar keep increasing in intensity until they distract the dog and keep it from barking. The corrections are always mild and painless, making it a safe and harmless way to train your dog.
